As a result of my experience in making gaming and comedy thingies, I’ve been involved in a number of other projects behind the scenes, including:

Channel 4, Jokes Only A…Can Tell; Director, Producer, Writer, Script Editor (2023)

  • Director/Producer for “Jokes Only An A.I. Can Write”. In addition, writiing of script for this episode using iterative A.I. prompting and curating/structuring of material. Further, adaptation and refinement of stand up comedians’ material for brevity and punch to fit the remit of this short-form online show for Channel 4 for Series 2

ITV, Lost Voice Guy’s Christmas Comedy Club; Assistant Producer (2022)

  • Key role on this UK TV, ITV 1, Xmas Eve special. Broad range of production responsibilities, directly reporting to Series Producer, in liaison with Executive and Line Production, and management of researchers. In addition, significant script writing/editing responsibilities, drafting/re-drafting segments, ‘punching up’, etc.

TikTok, Live stage content for EGX and gamescom: Creative Producer (2022)

  • Overall responsibility for content delivery: ideation, scripting, talent liaison, soft/hardware spec and install, show-calling for TikTok’s live stage presence at these flagship international gaming events.

Ubisoft, “gTV”: Series Producer, pre-launch (2021) - https://www.youtube.com/c/gTV_EN

  • Worked closely with creative director, production company and Ubisoft UK and EMEA teams, to define 6 distinct show strands for Ubisoft’s UK “gTV” YouTube channel launch, building on the success of their French and German iterations, whilst ensuring an authentic UK voice.

Captain Morgan, “Who’s The Captain Now?”: Creative Producer, also Host (2019-2021)

  • Liaising with multiple creative agencies and the client to deliver an entirely customised, branded, live online interactive series, broadcast to pubs and bars across the UK, and to online viewers at home, allowing every single viewer to play along, live, and win the show.

TikTok, “Game Together”: Creative Consultant (2021)

  • Liaison with stakeholders in multiple parts of the organisation/cross-functional teams to deliver a pilot series of engaging, entertaining gaming shows on their emerging live platform and advising on ways in which the live content ecosystem may wish to grow in the future.

Multiple Clients, “WiFi Wars”: Creative Producer, also Host (2015-2021)

  • Creation of unique mass-multiplayer gaming and quiz shows integrated into public events such as ESL One at Arena Birmingham, Runescape’s Runefest, Insomnia Gaming Festival and Eurogamer’s EGX, as well as private international events for clients such as Sega, Sony, King (Candy Crush), Google, MCV and TED - both live in venues, and online.
